Detached housing changes the job
Staten Island is mostly houses standing on their own ground, and that makes demolition a different trade from the one practised across the water. Instead of stripping a unit inside an occupied building, the work is more often a whole structure coming down, or something standing separately on the property that has reached the end of its life.

Space and constraints
There is usually room to work. The constraints move from the neighbour through the wall to the driveway, the trees, the setback and what the ground is doing underneath.

A demolition is not finished when the structure is down. It is finished when the material is gone and the ground is workable again — level, clear, and ready for whatever is meant to happen next. That last part is where a lot of jobs are quietly left unfinished.

What we take on
Residential and commercial. A single room stripped back is a job; so is a whole structure. If work needs a licence or certification we do not hold, we will say so and tell you who to call rather than take it on.
